Ok, around a year ago my friend Alex and I got an 89 Mustang 5.0 just to play with (half and half). After a year of just work, time and money and just one time at the track he decided to pay me the other half so he could keep it. I was cool with it cause I had just blown the engine on the FC so I had to get some money. Now to the point, last night I hear some car revving in front of my house, I knew it was the 5.0 cause I just know that sound, well the thing is that when I walked to the car it wasn’t Alex but my friend Derek. Derek bought the car from Alex yesterday and Derek came to my house last night to call me out. Derek has always had little rice burners that I have always been able to take with my 7's, but last night he showed up with the Stang to race me. I told him I had just gotten a ticket so I wasn’t in the mood (true) but that I would in the weekend. The thing is that he is going to kill me, and kill me bad. The only chance I have with that car is that since he is so used to rice burners maybe he just wont be able to drive a +300hp car. It just bothers me that he is coming after me to race me with the car that I built and right now I don’t have any mods on my FC or my FB that would let me take him (I know how that 5.0 runs). Why me???Well Im still going to race him just cause I told him I would. That will be Sat. so Ill post the news...

So he went out & bought a car that YOU BUILT... IN ORDER TO BEAT YOU....

If I bought a guys modified FD (he got tired of it, & didn't want a sports car)... I would look like a moron if I then ragged on the guy for my car being faster than his (non-existent one)....

If he runs his mouth... ask him to explain to you what's under the hood... then you can emarass him...

lol, the funny thing is that after telling me that he was going to smoke the shit out of me last night he asked me how I set up the MSD cause he was having problems with it. So he actually has no idea of what he has...

That's what I figured.... Not that I would know what everything did either... but I also wouldn't buy a modified car & pretend to be the shit either...

Just get beat with a spectator... then ask the Stang owner what is in under the hood... when he says... "uhh... the engine..." you can get some revenge ownage! When you lose you can say "damn, I built one fast car... good thing you bought it from me & Alex"

lol @ this situation. If it were me Id tell him hes a dumbass and tell him hes going to win before it happens, and you know because you built the car. That way he wont be able to brag because you already told him how it is..........

Yeah Ill do that, but I just talked to Alex (the one that sold it) and he told me Derek has been driving that car hard all day so I dont expect the car to last till this weekend. We built it for the track so is not a daily drver...

I thought about the sabotoge part already trust me...

At first I thought it was gonna be a friendly funny race where the guy you built the car with is tearing you a new one. But in written form it sounds like Derek is being a dick. Is he?

Now putting my own perspective and how my own friends are: I would assume that Derek is just having fun because he got tired of getting beat. No hard feelings with no animosity because in reality he gets no bragging rights since YOU BUILT that car lol.

Does he have a mullet ? Mullets add horsepower.

race him from a dig asap, he wont know how to launch a car with more thatn 75ft lbs of torque prolly and while hes spinning ur winning...

hook up some nitrous and beat him in the FB

Yeah I want to do it from a dig with the fc, its an N/a with just an exhaust but its got some nice Toyo's that can grip pretty good. I cant get my FB to grip with the tires its got now for nothing. Either way its all going to depend on his driving. He came today to the house to ask me more questions about it and I went out with him on the car cause he wanted to show me some problem with the shifter, well I ended up noticing that he just cant shift that car well cause of the short shifter its got (its a little challenging to shift it) so that gave me some hope...

Ohh and about Derek, no his not a dick he is actually one of my closest friends. But he has always lost against me with any car he has ever had and Ive been able to take him with any car Ive ever had. So I guess he just figured the only way he could take me its if he got one of my old cars. What really sucks is that my dad sold the FD like a year ago, so if I still had that I would have taken the Mustang too.

You should "Fix" his MSD then run him and win just to remind him that it takes more then just some cash to buy your way into winning a race :) Then beat him again after you fix it cause he doesn't know how to drive it.

someone with a t2 or fd should help out here and beat the 5.0 ahahaha.
