fun on a back road with an s2000
I'm coming home from my golf game in Morro Bay, and turn onto Turri Road. Turri road is a windy road of about 5 or 6 miles that never has any traffic. I drive it all the time. Up ahead, I see a lowered S2000 with a modified exhaust. I catch up, and he takes off. He cant shake me. He maybe gains a little on the straights, but my cornering is so much better that his efforts accomplish nothing. I eat him up on every turn. I'm on his butt all the way to the end (no place to pass on this road). As we come into town, I pull up next to him with the window down. I have a huge smile on my face. He looks over and says: " that thing handles pretty good". I reply (almost laughing) Its just a stock Prius, and I drive off.
Did I forget to mention that I was driving my 2015 (100% stock) Prius. My first kill in a long time

I also own a Prius (2g). People who hate on the things either are insecure or are ignorant. For the buck.. a used Prius is the best commuter, the best 4 passenger vehicle, the best stuff hauler, etc. I've fit 72x36x20 dressers in the thing with the hatch closed. They're actually relatively light and the 3rd gens handle pretty well with the double-A arm rear suspension setup. My all in cost to commute last year was under a thousand bucks with insurance/gas/maintenance.

True, I would probably agree. The S2000s have gotten pretty cheap, and the level of drivers entering these cars has gone down pretty significantly too. Lot of hard parkers and stance usage with these cars now.
