You are ignorant if you try to run against an EVO of the line.

Getting a lead doesn't always mean he'll get the win. Light to light you may not have enough road to claim a win but in the 1/4 mile its anyones game. Def can't win if you can't use third though. |
Eddie I have to disagree with you on this one. An AWD Evo is going to beat a RWD FD from a dig everything else considered equal.

My point is winning on the dig doesn't mean winning the race. Yes the Evo will get the dig from the line but if the 7 has any balls (and it sounded like it did) it'll catch up quick. Ignorant to run evo off a line? So we need conditions for the FD to race certain cars to make up for lack of torque or handling to help us with our chances of winning? What's the point then?...to only race from a roll cause that's "equal". "I won't race you off the line...but if we race from a roll...game on"...Really? Think EVO, Subie, or V8 guys are saying..."Don't race the FD from a roll..." ? That's BS. Or maybe I'm missing the point of racing these days now that I drive a truck and a minivan LOL.:icon_tup: |
The 7 had two car lengths. If he hit third the race may have been different....but that EVO looked like it had some torque and looks like it would have run down the RX7 even from a roll.
|
Eddie all things being equal = car with same HP, Driver Ability, etc. the first one off the line is going to win. =)
|
Yes, theoretically speaking... but when in real life are are all things equal in HP, Torque, car weight, driver, etc?
AND we're talking about racing different cars with different properties...not theory. I just have issues with the "not wanting to race someone from a dig cause you'll lose idea". He chose unwisely to race from a dig (with 2 car lengths) and that's why he lost? ...cause he raced from a dig vs a roll? C'mon... |

I'm still taking the EVO from a dig with AWD.
|
No worries man. Hell, I would agree with your logic but then I'd be wrong too... ;)
|
lol. why I love this place.
The darkside could take that evo from a dig. |
Pictures and information is in the original thread.. here: https://www.rx7club.com/west-sale-wanted-classifieds-195/awd-drive-setup-13b-20b-979976/
so you can dig with the evo |

Don't know what video you were watching. He had 2 cars and the break and that evo was right on him quick even before he missed 3rd. that's a fast ass evo for sure. |
