Audi tt vs.....
Okay,so typically I hate when people start threads asking "can my 7 beat *fill in the blank*",however I was just curious as to what an FD would need to beat a stock Audi tt?

just downhill, dont really need to start it either, tt sucks, slow and heavy, and fuggly
the tt couldnt even beat an FC |

well, the one with the biggest engine(2004 3,2 v6 250hp) weighs 3050 punds and has quattro, so less bhp, heavier drivetrain, and much more weight,=sloooow
an have you ever tryed the 1,8t, it suck, its is simply a bad engine, boring it might have 225hp but it doesnt feel like it |
i was actaully talking to the poster...didnt mean to quote your text.lol

is that 1.8t putting out teh same as teh one in the vw gti, if so it sucks. i whooped teh crap out of 1 in my s5 na fc. havent raced an r32 yet but the other vw and audi engines havent impressed me

my friend's parents have a tt and he always takes it out for spins. i beat it pretty easy in my mostly stock 120k s5 t2 by a car or 2 lengths in the 1/8 mile. however, while veilsidewankel may think it absolutely sucks (little do i think he has any experience with it), i dont think it is that bad at all. It is a very very smooth car with plenty of horsepower. As far as turning, i was rather impressed.

how do audi's suck? while you drive home with an old s5 tii with a broken radio surround and a random buzzer going off...he's listening to his bose sound system and enjoying the heated seat and comfortable ride. even tho they are heavy and $$ they are still nice cars, really nice cars. who cares if theyre slow? theyre built amazingly well and have controlled the le mans for a very long time. go to the audi forums and race some of those cars..im sure those are "slow" cars too :) dont bash till you ride in them and know the quality that goes into them.

I kinda think Audis are garbage too, just like new VWs. TT's are so far over priced for what they can do. R32s are cool but they weigh sooo much, it's crazy for a hatch.

I had the pleasure of assisting a student last year at one of our track events who was driving an '04 Audi TT quattro.
I have to say, the quattro system on the track is very impressive. The car is punchy from a dig but it doesn't have much up top. Its a great car for most of the smaller tracks in the US. Any of the tracks with a lot of long straights, it might run out of steam while the Vettes and such fly past. I wasn't a fan of the looks of the older versions but the upcoming one looks like a slightly tamer version of their R8 concept car. |

but in my eyes its just a really expensive ugly vw golf, (i will agree, the new one looks much better) |
