270hp, 3500lbs not too bad. Was it MT or AT?

The race would prob be close vs stock 3rd gen rx7s but not against anything pushing crazy hp.

AUTOMAGIC transmission

NO it isn't close. 220 hp to the wheels in a 3500 lb. car close to 210 in a 2700 lb. car?

This actually reminds me of a friend of mine with a TL. He knows nothing about cars and fixing them up, but i guess he heard something some where. Comes up to me and my other buddy and says,

Him - "I think I'm not getting enough PSI."
Me - "Eh? Your tires? What do you mean?"
Him - "No, my engine. I don't think it's getting the full 8 PSI."
Me - "What? What the hell....I thought you had a TL."
Him - "Yeah, it doesn't feel as fast as when I first got it. I'm not getting enough PSI."
Me - "LOL, you f'ing crackhead. What the hell are you talking about?"
Him - "Don't all cars have 8 PSI?"
Me - "LOL, yes they do. Why not. Take it to the dealership and have 'em fix it."

Good.....lesson? Wasn't really a kill, like you said, it's just not fair.
