85 gsl-se kills Taurus

This may not be atypical post in this section but if its not a kill I dont know what one is.
I was cruising to San antonio for side job, going with the flow at about 70 mph when a older taurus starts riding my ass. I always get a little nervous about that because I know if someone bumps me, my car would be totaled so I started checking my mirrors to get over. But, before I could really do that I saw brake lights 2 cars up then saw the brake lights pop on right in front of me so I just veered out of my lane. Thankfully noone was there but the guy behind me plowed right into the nice late model VW in front of me. Hopefully that is one less dumb ass on the roads down here....

Good job! I have noticed that people love to tailgate the 7, and i really hate people that ride my ass. Hopefully soon i will be shooting flames and can scare the crap outta those jackasses.

Ratboy, i would also like to see some pics of your car and to find out how you like the RB exhuast. Pm me so i dont jack the thread.

I love shooting flames! Cops don't like it though.

But anyhow, I hate tailgaters. Pwnt!

i shoot nice flames but more than that NO ONE stays behind me for more than a few seconds because my exhaust is just stupid loud and you cant hear yourself think when you are behind me :P

Hehe, that's great. I've got a similar taurus kill. Some SHO was riding my ass in my Mark 8, and eventually jumped past me. I got nice and up behind him, 'cause I knew he'd just drive faster to get away from me. I got him up to about 80 when I jumped in the other lane (long straight) and pulled next to him. I proceeded to SLAM on my brakes, and watch him tear the ever living shit out of his chassis after a nice sharp dip. I'm not sure his doors close properly anymore.

Do people not look further ahead than the bumper of the car in front of them?

Funny, yesterday I had to go work at another store, way out of my way, and on my way back, there was a guy and a woman in a Taurus, looked to be around a 2000 model. So, anyways, they were riding my ass, so I just drove like normal, didnt worry, but they kept it up, so at one of the stops I got on it a little bit in 1st, so he can running right thru the stop sight, that I just took off at so he could ride my ass, so I got on it, and he was trying to keep up, but I slowly pulled on him, he was pissed off, and stopped riding my ass, and turned shortly after.

Flames usually keep people away from me, that and my car is deafening :(.

I just got my car to STOP shooting flames so Im not sure I want to go back to that. Are there any links for oil slicks or tire spikes? Ive still got that little -SE stereo joystick in my car that I could use for that.....

I hope you're not serious. My flames happen on accident, I hope you're not actually trying to hurt someone.

My GSL's last worldly act was to take out a dumbass in a Taurus who ran a stop sign.

Its kind of an odd situation, so I'd better describe it.

I was coming off 101 north going into McKinleyville (just north of Eureka for people who know their Northern California locations) the offramp goes for about a 16th of a mile before it is intersected by a road. Which is a lame ass design in and of itself. Obviously they don't want traffic backed up onto the freeway, so only the people on the intersecting road have to stop.

Right as I get to the intersection (i'm slowed down to about 45 by now) this lady pulls out. Locked up the brakes, managed to get it down to 25 in the space of nothing (seriously, if you can stand the noise Hawk ferro-carbon brakes fucking rock) turn slightly to the left and broadside her in the drivers side rear door.

In terms of damage: my car could have been fixed, but I didn't have the funds to do it. It was cheaper for me to buy a new car.

Her car was fucked. There isn't a body shop in the nation that would take that job on.

Hooray for steel unibodies.

comradegiant, insurance didn't cover it? your deductable should only be like $500

comradegiant 10-30-05 05:19 PM

It was judged to be a total loss.

And I don't have time to haggle with insurance.

If someone tailgates me, and there are two lanes, going my way, I have just let off the gas and let'er slow naturally. Amazing how long some people have stayed behind me while my car passes 40mph. Then 30, then 20. Then suddenly pull out and accelerate and honk and give me the mad look. Whatever.

Now, however, I just change lanes and let them mindlessly tunnel-vision on without me.
