Who is registered ASP class for Finger Lakes SCCA Solo?

Does anyone one here know William or Kevin running a ASP Rx7?

Yep. They run with NER and other CT clubs.

(Yeah... that kC)

Yay. KC!

Are they on RX7Club? User names? How do they pax at NER events? Is there a thread about their set up on here anywhere?

Imp 03-05-09 11:11 AM

Haven't seen/recognized them on the forum.

You can look at the http://www.ner.org and http://www.fcscc.com/09results.htm autox results (and past tours) and figure things out from there.

Wow - Jake and KC in a thread on RX7club! Looking forward to Finger Lakes. Shawn and I will be there in the BS RX-8.

Jake, will you bring the STi or RX-7 out for Finger Lakes?

Yeah... can't wait to actually drive the car. Ordering suspension for the 7 this week... should have it all in the car before the 1st local which is in about a month. Couple other bits done early on... this car's going to be a good STS contender... I hope.

Good luck with the STS car!

N/A FC's can be had for cheap, so if the car does prove to be a contender, I'm sure many will follow. It would also be nice to see another car in the mix at the top of STS. :icon_tup:

I have a lot of confidence in the FC, but I know those STS CRX Si's and Miatas are uber fast. It'll be tough.

Agreed. The FC has the hp and tq advantage over the Miatas & CRXs, and isn't much wider. It should also be able fit the full 225 sized tires w/o taking a gearing hit.

The real unknown is just how light an FC can get in STS trim. I think KC mentioned ~2,600lbs in another thread. The CRX's are ~1,900-2,000 while the miatas are around 2,000-2,150lbs iirc. The lighter the FC can get the better the odds.

Take down that SS vette! He's trolling for contingency.

jdmsuper7 05-28-09 09:41 AM

I'm officially in for SSM. Becker is gonna murder me though unless someone has some 285s I can borrow.

Looking forward to meeting y'all, cya tomorrow! I'm heading up to do course setup tonight. Anyone camping at Sampson?

s1mpsons 06-11-09 11:58 AM

I'll be camping with a couple other autoxers. Site: SAMP3125. I think that means loop 3 site 125. Stop by for some drinks. Look for the blue subaru or blue S2000 CR.

EDIT: there will probably be 10 blue subarus at sampson. Mine will be the one with the diecast 1:22 scale STi spoiler on the trunk (gotta stay STU legal, you know).
