New car.....Need advise getting it off the line!

Hi Guys, Bit of a newbe drag racing question for you.

Im about to pick up a car I have just brought. Its a S7 FD with HKS T51R with a race tune of 650rwhp.

Now to give you a bit of background ive owned a 400hp FD for the last few years but I never draged the car (got a bit of circuit time).
Ive draged a number of low 11 second 4wd cars I helped build over the years so am no stranger to drag racing but a 650hp rwd is another story.

The car has gone 10.6 by the previous owner and it is built tuff so I would like to get a few runs in myself.

I will be getting all the suspention setup and tyre package from the builders so have all the data to set the car up but the driver know how is what Im lacking.

What I want to know is how do I get a car with this sort of grunt off the line clean and safe? It will be on drag radials btw and will run WELL depowered untill I get used to the car.

Any help will be much appreciated.

I would suggest softer sidewall tires for starters. (Softer than a DOT drag radial)
What differential does it have?
Is the case reinforced?
Are the axles stock?

Car has strengthened power plant, some mods to the S7 gearbox (waiting on receipts for this), Mazda speed LSD, strangthend diff housing and custom made billet axels. Its also got a triple plate quarter master clutch.

What Im after is more of the driving technique with these cars. Launch rpms, any point trying to slip the clutch, etc etc.
