I know factory manual say ,if below 7kg u need for sure My car start up fine, either cold or hot , no blow by from hour of race My engine is stock with 99 turbo Race hour about 16hr The reason I am.ask opion is, recently I read one shop at japan , saying if ur. Stock FD3S compression number is below 7.5 u should consider rebuild The theory behind is, the min compression is list way back in FC3S era~ At that time FC have much lower hp, so as for later model inorder to keep 90%of ur engine performance, the C/P number should be over 8KG Personaly I think if it start up fine ,no blow by and ur CP number are even and above 7 I would not open it😀 |
7.7, 7.8, 7.9... I'd keep beating on that engine! Rebuild it when it goes pop or below 6.
