Where to get used r-comps to fit stock FD wheels

So my V710s have run for over 2 seasons and are getting pretty hard. I'd like another set in either 225/50R16 or 245/45/R16. Hoosiers would be another possibility.

For the past year I've been watching sccaforums, ebay, etc looking for a good set of lightly used tire and a set came up over the holidays for the first time in months. They sold in a 2 day ebay auction for a pretty low price, so I'm disappointed I didn't get my shot at them.

I've been in touch with used race tire guys but they tend to only have track compounds.

There used to be an SCCA class that used this size tire but they went to 17" wheels 2 years ago. I heard Porsche guys use this size but past searches in their classifieds yielded nothing.

I'd appreciate any tips on where to look for a set.

You might try the S2K board (www.s2ki.com). The 2000-2003 S2K's used those sizes.

Thanks Andy. I don't know how I forgot about those guys.

I already found a promising lead on some A6's not far from me.
