Where to get roll bar for FC

Hey guys. First I just want to say WOO HOO! We finally got our forum.

Anybody know a place that has a good bolt in 4/5 point roll bar for a FC? I will weld it in once I get it installed.

I building my 10AE for track days with some street use. I'm looking to have about 400RWHP so a nice roll bar will be a very good thing.

Thanks,
MIke

Kirk Racing is pretty well known for making good cages/bars for rx-7s and miatas. The site isn't all that helpful, but I'm sure if you gave them a call they could help. They don't know it yet, but they'll be doing the cage for my ITS car.

Funny you suggest them. They did the cage on our IT7 car. They did a great job and have very good prices.
The only reason I was looking else where is because I figured I would buy a bolt in and weld it in myself.

I could do this much cheaper Myself. I don't think they make bolt in's.
I May end up getting them to do it if I can't find a inexpensive bolt in.

I called them and they quoted $285 for a four point bolt in bar. They also have a six point cage bolt in for $595 with an option for nascar bars. Sounds pretty good too me, but i haven't priced anything else.

Thats a pretty good price. It's a little less then I've seen other places. Thats probably what I will end up doing.

Thanks for calling them.

Also try an Autopower roll bar from I/O Port Racing Supplies.

Dave Gibson (of FC3S.org fame) installed one on one of his cars and was pleased with it. FWIW, they are located in San Diego, just a tad bit away from Alabama. :D

No problem. I've been meaning to call them myself and this just gave me a good reason. I also figured it was worth mentioning this in our new race forum because these guys race a second gen and seem to do high quality work as far as cages/bars are concerned. I'll let everyone know when they install mine.

Why bolt in? Headroom is at a premium, and the bolt it isn't going to help that..

Oh, nevermind, bolt in roll bar is fine :)

Sorry :)
