Whats better for handling?smaller rim size in front, larger in back or all same size?

I have a 1991 rx7 na coupe, it has no lsd, and has stock tires and rims. tires are 6 in. wide and rims are 15 inches. I'm looking at 7 inch wide tires on 16 and 17 inch rims. I'm wondering if the handling of my car would be better if i had the 16 inch rims in front and 17's for rears? Or I should go 6x17 all around? The car comes stock with all four tires the same size and the original rims are still on my car. I think the handling and driveability is pretty good, haven't experienced anything better. So I'm wondering if either of these choices would improve handling, keep it the same or make it worse? I know, not the biggest rims around but I like the design, they're konigs, i wont get pulled over and most importantly, the rims im looking at come with a bolt pattern of 5x114.3 and an offset of 40!

weight of the wheels is a factor too. I would just get some coilovers, bushings, maybe strut and sway bars. That will help stiffen everything up better than some wheels. Tires can make a drastic change also. Do you plan to track the car or is this just a daily driver? Its its daily driven then i wouldnt care about upgrading all of this.

it's a daily driver which i use crazy fun sometimes. the other night i was haulin tits down this road in Key peninsula haha. well 120, some people i know call that pussy. i have a 1991 na coupe, stock, except intake. I want corksport exhaust and eventually a solid port job, probably new injectors and a haltech. im the third owner, it has a rebuilt engine with only like 30k from the 2nd owner, i want to use this thing up and then fulfill my dream of a 12k$ motor with 500ish HP! i just didnt want to make decision on wheels which would make it worse, thanks for your input. i've thought about suspension too, it's pretty pricy. rx7store.net has some coilovers for about 850, look good.

Save your money to pay for the speeding tickets, bail, and increased insurance fees from the first two. :-)
