what to use for trans and diff?

hey, first of all im not joking around or trying to troll anyone. id like to figure out what i need to do or what you would do for the trans and diff for an fc thats going to output about 1000hp. it will probably be a bit less but might see 1000.

it will see street and track use, bear in mind. so dog boxes are ok but i know theyll probably be more hassle than there worth.

also i should mention its for road racing not drag.

please give your honest opinions. thanks.

Good heavens what class are you planning to compete in with 1000 HP..... I trust you have lots of cash, race car expenses increase exponentially with HP....

EDIT: I smell troll, as nobody seriously targeting 1000HP would be asking on these forums how to go about it...

I'd like to see a 1000hp rotary hold together for a full session... imagine the heat it'd produce... not to mention the sound.

no troll lol, anytime you mention 1000hp anything people will always think troll.

the engine will be a 13bppt with 2 piece e-shaft and center bearing. it will also more than likely have slides in the intake venturis, to make low rpm tolerable.

That would be a useless race car.

Turbo lag would be horrendous, being able to modulate 1000whp through a corner wont happen.

Wow, that's certainly ambitious. You may look into converting to a T5 transmission. I know that it has been done before so you may even be able to find a pre-made bellhousing, and those boxes can be built TOUGH. Driveshaft shop makes some super beefy axles that bolt up to a Ford diff, I believe. A custom driveshaft, a stout clutch, and you would be all set.

thank you for a very simple straight answer.
