What class would an engine swapped FB run in at an Auto-x??

I have my sr20det powered FB on the road and want to start auto-x'ing it. There's an auto-x on the 8'th of July that I want to register for... what class would I be?

i think youre will be on Street Modified 2, because of the engine modsi think is pretty much that class.

E Mod. You could do SM2 if you used a Mazda engine, but since you are using a different manufacturer, you are in E Mod.

E-Mod or XP... v8 swaps usually end up there

yup yup. SM2 is for engines from the same manufacturer as the vehicle, including adding boost. You had better be putting down LOTS of rubber to compete in E-Mod. Or... just go have a blast and win your class (mod classes usually don't have many competitors regionally).

I did not know about XP. I very well might go that route with my 5.0 car. Probably be a little more competitive than EM, with all of the super 7s and such.
