weak links in drivetrain?
ok so i have a few questions about my S4 rx7 turbo. im new to drag racing, i just built my S4 rx7 with huge T4 turbo and all the other goodies. i put down 405 @15psi and im soon to tune it to 20psi on alcohol injection. my concerns are the tranny, rear diff and axles. i bought a set of M/T slicks for it and i plan on making some hard launches so what do i need to do to my tranny and everything else to hold up to the abuse of high RPM launches? im currently running stock tranny and diff

ive heard the half shafts brake at the ends from wheel hop/shutter when you get above 350hp with wide shoes.. also ive heard of the stock diff mounts are weak... take in mind i do not know if this is true as i dont own a 350+ 7 but this is what i was told from a friend that does.

is there an upgrade availible for the halfshafts? and im in the process of installing MMR diff mounts and mazdaspeed front diff mount. however im leaning more towards the tranny taking a shit on the track. i seem to have very bad luck with tranny's

i cant recall the site but they do make them... just wondering what part of the tranny are you breakn the gears, syncos or the case?

syncros and ive blown 5th gear out twice somehow
