VIR Full course track Daze end of August.

Hi I'm posting this for a friend, but please come out and run with these guys!

To everyone that has participated in one of our track events under the CAC NorEast R32 group, we would like to thank you for making those events so successful. I am sad to say, CAC NorEastR32 is no longer, kaput, finished.
Due to the success of our events Jeremy and I could not just leave people "hanging". So we have decided to continue our events under a new name: TrackDaze.

With the formation of TrackDaze you can be sure to expect the same high quality, fun, and exciting event. We have tried to take the best of all of our experiences at track events and put them all together in what we hope will continue to be a great HPDE program.

Of course with a new name comes a new face: Track Daze High-Performance Driving

I would also like to announce that our August 2007 VIR full course HPDE registration is now open on the new website. We apologize for the delay in opening registration. There are now 3 convenient ways to pay registration fees: paypal, google-checkout, and mail-in check.

Please go here to register: www.trackdaze.com

If you have any questions about anything please, as always, feel free to contact us at info@trackdaze.com

Thank you again and we look forward to seeing you at our events.

How much track time can we expect at one of your events? Number of sessions, length per session, etc...

ArmitageGVR4 07-31-07 03:09 PM

If it's anything like their old events, 4 sessions a day, 30 minutes per session +/-. The last R32 event at Shenandoah was well organized and ran smoothly for the most part barring a few incidents related to some of the participants.

edit: from their website:

We have five groups, which means we run five groups of cars on the track in four to five sessions each per day. Sessions last 25 minutes, depending upon the event. Run Groups are based almost entirely on driver experience and skill, and each one contains about 10 to 15 cars per mile of track.

That's right. 4 sessions a day, 30 minutes per session.

Well, I'm already signed up with MazdaDrivers for Sept 1-2 on VIR full. And four days of solid track time, while somewhat alluring, will most definitely not meet the "Spousal Approval Factor" (SAF).

Have a great time.

Come on Bill...

Too hot out there for turbo rotaries (and turbo rotaries with no A/C).... I'm hitting WGI labor day weekend.

I too will be going to the Mazdadrivers event that weekend and probably Beaverun the weekend before. No rotary and no turbo....

It's a "mild" V8 so the top end is < GT35r, but should be interesting nevertheless. Lap times won't be sub 2:14 with my stock brakes. I wish those guys at Racing Brake would get their act together and do some track testing--sorry for the sidebar. If all goes well I will be back to VIR for Synergy Racing's event in Oct.
