Tubbing Wheel Wells
Hi All. The previous owner hacked up my fender wells and I had to resort to custom fabricating some panels. What do you think? Any inputs before I start the driver side? The added clearance is nice and its a track car so I didn't bother with body filling the custom in place. Talking shit works here I guess but I am posting to ask if there are any suggestions...

Aren't there plastic factory pieces that cover those holes?

I did that on my FB race car and I used basement window cove covers to create removable inner fenders. They don't seal completely but they don't need too. They can be a little brittle but are easy to make if one breaks.
One thing to be careful about is that on a unibody car the inner fenders are structural so don't cut out too much. Why didn't you seam weld this in? The riveting seems VERY weird for a structural piece. Nice job on the shaping, love it.
