Can those who have enclosed trailers post pictures of the inside please? Every track day we try to add something inside the trailer whether it be a hook to hang something or whatever... if you have pics of your setup inside can you please post them to give me ideas?

Also, whats a good way to protect the floor? Between carpet, leaving it with the wood, whatever... whats the best?

I like ATP on the floor but am considering Linex for my next trailer. Just something different really.

Add 110 volt lights and power outlets, and add one or two good 12v deep cycles and a big inverter. 12 volt fluorescent lighting.

Fans for cooling. Small microwave oven for cooking. Tire racks for holding spare race tires. Corkboard to stick up the weekend race schedule. Outside work lights for late night working or loading.

Stick a pair of 12 volt driving lights up on the back on the trailer, and wire them up to the back up lights in your tow vehicle. Really helps up when backing up late at night.

Add yellow side marker lights on the edge of your fenders. Helps you see where your wheels are at night.

I've been thinking about diamond plating.... but is it pricey?
and i'm not sure if that is the best solution durability wise?

Durability/longevity, yes, it's probably the best. The other option is to get the sandpaper-like stuff (either stick or glue on) or a spray on truck bedliner type deal --- but that stuff won't last. The diamond plate is pretty stout, adds a minor amount of stiffening in a trailer (depending on what brand trailer you get -- some of them are "flexy-fliers"), and is pretty easy to install. Don't know about cost, but you may check scrap yards. If you're just going to have two strips down the trailer/ramp, you may be able to find a couple 6" wide lengths of it. If you can, get aluminum diamond plate since it's lighter. It will be a little more expensive, but the weight savings may be worth it since all that stuff adds up after a while. ;)

winch. you will never want to use that, but if you dont have it when you want to use it . you will feel very sorry too. I have my X-2 winch and my open trailer. I love it save my ass so many time and my friends . BTW dont buy a cheap winch from pep boy. you got what you pay for.
