does anybody know the specs/mods on the sky blue Re Amemiya that races the 600 hp red skyline in option video 6 (i think).

Valkyrie 11-29-06 06:33 PM

It's a highly-tuned FD with stock turbos and about 400 HP...

I believe that's correct for that car.

I know there are plenty of the RE-Amemiya cars out there, so i haven't been able to find specs for the exact car you're talking about. I've found the D1 drift car, the yellow race car and some others.

RE Super G

Engine: TT 380ps
Turbines: Stock
ECU: RE Amemiya
Headers: RE Amemiya
Exhaust: RE Amemiya
Trans: Stock
LSD: RE Amemiya
Dampers: RE Amemiya Quantum RS ($4000+ coilovers)
Springs: F16Kg, R18Kg
Brakes: AP Racing Front Calipers
Pads: Project Mu
Tires: Yokohama Advan Neova 255/40R17
Reinforce: FRP Hood
Weight: 1200Kg [2646 lbs]

The video is Hot Version "Rocket Rotary". They said that the ECU is RE Amemiya, but it looks like its a Power FC. Also they using a v-mount setup.

Valkyrie 12-01-06 01:28 PM

It's clearly a Power FC that was tuned by RE-A.

I was just thinking the same thing. The Japanese are known for insane spring rates.

The R34 was the MCR (Merciless crowd racing) I know that.

When I get my RX7, this the setup I want to ran.

That's because they're purely circuit rates... it may be a street car but it's designed to be faster than other shop's cars.

And it's probably had an assload of lightening on the front, explaining the rear bias.

I thought it was Matchless Crowd Racing? I could be wrong.

Even for circuit thats pretty high lol, and theyre not on a circuit so id think theyd run a lot lower rates..but i guess they know what their doing ;)

DHeart197 12-05-06 11:22 AM

At 2646 lbs, they probably just removed the ac and power steering. As for track, they look like they were running on a semi-street course with a lot of bumps.

Mid_KnightFD 12-06-06 10:02 PM

In the video I have RE say's he is running with the stock brakes. Just to show how good they are. Also it was under 400HP.

Xeros 12-06-06 11:28 PM

aMazing the car is so agile with an interior....makes me want to put mine back in.....haha btw my spring rates are 18 18 have yet to actually drive fast on them...but I have a feelign I will be doing bunny hops on highways over small bumps...thought of it just scares me....
