Nice vid, always nice to see people taking their 7's to the track :bigthumb:

Wow, very nice, smooth driving. You didn't attend the previous event at the beginning of December?

Damn, looks like it was a nice day. This is the first year we've missed, still tired from running the 25 in Dec.

Your line looks very smooth, looks like you did a great job on track. I see your car out on track and it makes me want to go buy one :)

Couple things I picked up on, might just have been that lap you showed.

In one, try to go wider and cut more of an arc. You tracked out ok, but you started the corner too far to the center. More to the right would have allowed you to carry a lot more speed through the corner.

In turn 8 you over slowed and turned in too late, then pinched off the corner ending in the middle of the track. I would have slowed earlier or less, turned earlier, and carried a nice arc out to the edge. They changed the track this year, there's now run off out there, much like where you tried "driftiing" between 14/15.

Turn 15, I would have carried a bit more speed and drifted out more to the outside. I know it can be scary if you drop a wheel and hook around, that wall isn't very forgiving, but you lost a bunch of time there.

Overall, however, nice ride.

One note, if you do a lot of track action get some gloves! a $100 pair of gloves from saferacer (or lots of places) would be a great investment. I had a pair of simpson cheapies and recently upgraded to so $120 OMPs.

If that was a rental helmet you might also pickup your own. Check with your sactioning body, but you might even be able to use a motorcycle helmet (less expensive). Having your own helmet and not having to worry about other folk's funk really improves the weekend experience.
