subframe connectors

does anyone make subframe connectors for the 3rd gen? i was going to make my own but if they exist then it's all good!

Would it need them? I'm really curious... haven't had the opportunity to spend much time under an FD, but 1st-gens have the "framerails" going all the way from the front bumper to the rear bumper and the front suspension subframe and the rear suspension links mount directly to that. It'd be a shame if Mazda didn't carry that wonderful design through to the FD...

I know my FC has some similar rails that run from the front frame all the way down the unibody-

I assume the FD is the same.

the basic archetecture of the fd is the same.

The power plant frame on the 3 rd gen should do what you need, also Mazda has a stronger one (red in color ) to stiffen things up ,for about $350.

The PPF doesn't do anything for the suspension mounting points, just the drivetrain.

The Mazdaspeed PPF has been officially discontinued for more than a year by now...

Why you worried about domestic, V8 subframe connectors???&nbsp Get a real cage...
