steering wheel question
 

sorry if this has been gone over but i searched and found nothing.

i want to get an aftermarket steering wheel for my fc. yet after my first attempt to get one failing im not sure exactly what i need. the first one i was young and dumb. i got an autozone grant wheel and hub. but after all efforts of trying to get the hub on nothing worked. i stripped out my steering column and decided to go back to original.( had to get a whole new steering column.:wallbash:

is there something i am missing. can i use a universal hub. what hubs did you guys use? what methods did you guys use to attach your hub? and will any hub/steering wheel work or does it have to be the same company?

also for a quick release do you put that on with the hub as well?

Both Momo and Sparco and I believe OMP and Mazdaspeed (non Nardi wheels) share the same bolt pattern on their wheels and thus hubs are interchangable and have many sources for quick releases.. Nardi/Personel have a weird bolt pattern so you are limited to their hubs. Go to a momo dealer site to find an FC hub.
