Someone explain to me how to attach AN hose ends.

I think i got it figured out, but I want to make sure I do it right.

Ive been searching the net and this site for 20 minutes and have found nothing on how to attach these hose ends.

I have summit Braided line and hose ends, but I doubt that matters.

My tip? don't use masking tape, it only helps a little.

use a worm hose clamp, and cut along the edge of that. Works so much better.

I have noticed some ends and hoses are easier to get together. I've used Aeroquip, Earl's and Goodridge and Goodridge seems to always go together much easier than the rest. FWIW.

Summit Brand braided line and hose ends is made by goodridge.

I don't use a hack saw either. I like to use a cut off saw. it makes a staight cut and doesn't fray the braid. larger hoses are easier than the -4 and -6.

Clamp - Good idea! I like that one.:D And the cutoff wheels work sooo much better than a hacksaw.
