some ?? about drag suspention settups for the front end

im building a drag rx7 ..right now out back im running a t2 rear and stock suspention 5 lug brake conversion on my 86 na base model..
my ? is what is available are there 90/10 front struts with a long travel long trick spring ...also having wheel rub issues with the draglite after spacing the tires out and grinding the hump off the caliper (im running skinnies)..the wheel will rub the fender...what skinnies are the drag racers around here running??
and what if any mods can i make up front ...better yet what rims are real light kinda cheap that i can use up there in a drag application...
thanxs in advance
allen..

I'm also trying to find a Drag setup suspension
with out having to pay 2000+ for the HKS Drag shocks

as for your wheels

The 15" wheels are the large disk/calibers is your problem

I going to get the 16" XP drag lights for this reason
unless I switch to a solid axle setup

my biggest problem is calipers are too fat they rub the rim i have to space them out to clear the t2 aluminum front brakes ..the diameter 15" is fine its the 1 3/4 back spacing that is f-ing every thing up ..tures stick out too far they rub the fender wells on big bumps and when comming down off my 3 inh wheelies ..ha!ha!

i figured it out tonight i was getting all pissed off cleaning up around the garage when it hit me....1st thing i did was take my rotors to pep boys and have them cut to the minimum tolerance wich lost about a 16/th of an inch on the overall width...(bare with me)
then i took 1/8 off two of the brake pads ill be using them for the outer brake pads on the front two calipers... then i ground the mounting bracket that holds the calipers taking 1/4" light off of both sides moving the calipers back twards the strut a 1/4" allowing me to almost get away with no spacers at all on the front tires ,,.then rolled the fender lips a little further than before and holly crap no rubbing........the brake calipers are self aligning so as long as you can get the piston to compress far enough to fit the pad in there you are golden....took it out for a drive no rubbing holly shiit!!!

thats smart, just be sure not to use those pads for street use unless its limited and just for dragging or else youll wear them real fast and be f'ing up your rotors.
what engine setup? SBC?

What about the Eibac pro-launch springs? Im not even sure if they make them for the FC...
