solid rear in FD advice

After much searching I have decided that the FD drag car project I am working on needs a solid rear end, something like a 9" Ford. I need advice on what is the cheapest and easiest way to get it done (source, mounting).

I've come across Jimlab's Cobra IRS threads and it looks awesome but I am looking for more drag specific and occasional daily driving. Honestly, I searched but haven't come across any good threads about installing a solid domestic rear into an FD. Perhaps someone can link one? Thanks!

The cheapest/proper way to put a 9 " in ,would be to find a bronco(JYD) snag the complete axle housing minus brakes for under 2 bills.Sorten it to whatever you need ,cut off all the stock ford brackets get the willwood caliper mount kit from Day Motorsports(circle traack stuff & whatever wheels your gonna run Call summit or jegs get whatever gear your gonna put in it 225 cheapo gear set but good &,set up the third member. Now back half the chassis & do a simple 3 or 4 liknk rear end. DONE ,I would say if you DIY maybe under 5G + lots of time & retail, OUTSOURCE & RETAIL 8G & up depends.

Hinson supercars just release a live axle kit for the FD.
