Shift Lights

For those who don't run a full race dash but want progressive shift lights (which are probably the most useful visual gauge used in a race environment)

I just put this in my Spec Miata. Really nice size and easy setup.

thats pretty neat, I use a Raptor. You can buy different versions but the one i use is controlled by the wolf so its only 1.5" long

its set to flash right before I need to shift and then light up steady when you should shift. VERY bright, small, and simple

Silly music but gives an idea of what "progressive" means, this is the actual Cartek model too

If you are looking for something, I would strongly suggest the Stewart Warner Ultra Shift. Its a combo tach and shift light. I have had one in my car for about 5 years and it works extremely well. Simple to use, highly visible and easy to install.

Also, its pretty cheap and the tach can keep up with my car in the lower gears.
