'Seca' Switch

What about this idea for those whos' engine is too loud

Is your exhaust system too loud? lower the noise level, while reatining the power. I have a valve (similar to a TB) that you can put between any joints in your exhaust system. This is fully electronic, and comes with all hardware and switch. You can control the amount of opening, thus controling the noise level
Might be a decent idea, just turn a knob when you pass the sound thingy!

Most (loud) rotaries run "down turns" - why suffer power losses with a valve that chokes your exhaust?

Yeah, i don't think I'd go that route, I'd use something like that for a cut out, where I could switch between exhaust routing out no cat, or with cat/muffler..

For Laguna, we'll see. Worst case, I setup my car to allow easy additions of turndowns, and a supertrapp if that becomes necessary (let's hope not)..

Funny, my Trans Am is far louder, but it's not so sharp, it's a dull growl instead of a high pitch whine like the RX7

Yeah, I did see the restriction in the device after I posted. So downturn is still the way to go. Poo.
