...rules are online but SCCA still requires drivers to have an "official" copy on their hands. This means we still have to buy the paper version to take to events

I need a little help here.
in my racing series, the regulating comitee is not allowing mod to rotaries.
for example we are allowed peripheral but we can not change the intake manifold.
while hondas can change cylinder heads, valves, spring, cams,......

I need to get some scca rules were it show what mod are been allowed to rotaries and hondas so that we can get some equal threatment down here.
show the regulating comitee some scca paper work. since SCCA is very org. matbe they will follow them.
or maybe I see RX8 are doing good in Grand Am. anyone knows the regulations there?

yea jose, We also run with another series in the midwest here, their rules are basically a carbon copy of SCCA.

If you're talking about Improved Touring road racing, the prep rules are here http://www.scca.com/_Filelibrary/Fil...ngCategory.pdf
Section 17.4.1.D.1 lists the allowable mods for reciprocating engines, 17.4.1.D.2 covers rotaries.

Not true, an event entrant is NOT required to own or bring a GCR to an event. If you beleive your own statements please specify the GCR rule. Starting year 2005 the fees have been raised & each driver will receive a hard copy GCR when she/he receives their license.

Happy New Year
