Are Zamp helmets any good? Specifically, the FS-2?

It's the cheapest M2005 helmet on the market, as far as I can tell...

i had one and it was ok. i just use it now for just karting now. i perfer simpson helmets now... way way comfy and better vision.

they have to be ok, after all they do have to pass those tests to get the DOT and M2005 stamps

I was looking at getting one (an FSA-1) but they were on backorder. My understanding is they're just a little less "plush" than the nicer helmets, but they still meet the standards.

I ended up with an HJC.

No one can tell you how a helmet will feel on your head. You have to try them. Everyone's head is shaped differently and the slight differences in brands and models work well with different heads. If you buy anything without being able to try it make sure you can return it if it doesn't fit properly.
