S4 intake manifold to s5 conversion
 

i just wanted to know if it can be done.. what needs to be changed and is it worth it...ive heard that some people that run in scca ITS spec rx7's convert to the s5 manifold if they start off with an s4...ive search and have come out empty handed..thanks

Not trying to be an ass but you didn't search very hard. This has been brought up thousands of times and your answer is in the 2nd gen section FAQ...

lol its cool well i did search hard with the search button i went through 6 pages that had nothing to do with what i was looking for..lol so i did look hard just nothing came up...i didnt even think of looking at the faq's cuz id figured if its been answer before it would have came up as i was doing my search but anyway thanks for pointing me in the right direction :icon_tup: :rock: :us4allswi

One more thing. There is no such thing as "ITS spec RX7's". Spec RX-7's or SRX7 are 1st Gen RX-7s' built to very specific rules (varies by region) and they are all the same (hence, "spec"). IT cars are not all the same, they are built to a rule book but can have different headers, air intakes, tires, etc. whereas "Spec" classes usually do not allow for that. Just call it an ITS car or 2nd Gen ITS car and you'll be good.
