Will this car be racing at Knox mountain hill climb?

Or your other king of the mountain!

Wing , splitter, windows, diffuser, fasteners, tail lights, canards installed
Flat bottom front to back ensures plenty of clean air to the carbon fibre diffuser.
It took about 10 hours to set up the suspension. I forgot to disconnect the swaybars so I could have done it in 8 hours. Camber , toe, control arm lengths were all out of spec as everything had been apart at one point.

Made the screen out of stainless
It took a while to get to these numbers. The front started at 300/700 lbs. This is not the total weight as the hood was off.
This is the weight with about 40 litres of fuel. 40 litres is about 65 lbs so the weight of the car is about 2060 pounds.
We will race the car in the Pacific Northwest this year and the Knox hillclimb in 2018.

The wheel weight were with a driver. The total weight was with the big muffler which is 30 pounds heavier that the smaller unit . And no driver btw. The used fibreglass bodywork required a lot of prep and fillers. I'm sure down the road we will change the tail, hood and nose to carbon fiber and lose at least 50 pounds. That would make it just under 2000 pounds with no driver.

Does this thing have to breathe through a restrictor? Is that what I am seeing with the intake airbox to a rubber duct to the restrictor?

Amazing. Thanks for taking the time to share with us this awesome piece of history!

Did you find it a pain to take pictures while packing those bearings with grease? Haha.

Most of the decals are on. Brake lights are working now, fire system done, seat belts in.
Air filter installed. No restrictor.

With all the bodywork on, it's really hard to imagine that it's basically a prototype racecar underneath.

We had to rebuild the fuel cell . We should be on the track next month. Lots of foam to prevent fuel slosh. Internal surge tank is cool.

Took the car out for the very first time . A few items left to do and it's ready for the first race weekend.
