Rear sub frame mods?

Building an FD for the track...
My cage is nearly finished and while my FD is still in the shop I want to get any extra required welding done so I only have to paint it once (apart from after I crash it).

I'm mainly interested in cage related welding, like extra bars etc and suspension / drive train strengthening.

I don't know who will read this so I'll just put some thoughts here and see if any one wants to give me some advice.
Looking for people that have prepped an FD, not hearsay.

(1) I'll start with some hearsay :)
I hear that the SP in Australia was lowered 50mm by re-locating all the suspension points 50m higher on the body. I had a look with the cage guy and he thinks it wouldn't be to hard to do...

Anyone done it?

(2)
I saw in a Japanese magazine that the whole rear subframe on ReAmamiya's FD (White one not GT one) Has been strengthened.
Welded a 30mm tube around the yoke and added about 4 strengthening bars from the strap to pick up the suspension mounting points.

Is the rear subframe a problem?
Again cage guys says he can make a jig and make chrome molly front and rear subframes...Save some weight and be stiffer.
Anyone think the whole subframe and drive train support is meant to be a little flexible? Making stronger sub frames will lead to damage to the drive train?

(3) Seen lost of aftermarket power frames in Japan. Should I stiffen up the a little so it doesn't crack or replace it? with a stronger set-up. Will going too strong twist and damage the gear box?

That's enough for now.
Picture attached after we stripped the interior and front screen.

Thanks for reading.

I can't speak to the FD, bit the fc definitley requires a reinforced subframe. Some strategic gussets on the stock piece make a reliable subframe for 500+ hp. Carl

if you look closely re amamyia seam welds (at least) the subframes, and they also seam weld everything on the shell
