Hey guys -- Can you give me where I should set the timming on and IT-7 car....

It needs to be set on the dyno if you really care about horsepower.

If you can't get it on the dyno, then set leading to 29-30 (but no more!) and trailing as far advanced as it will go, typically about 15. The entire Paul Yaw website should be required reading for IT-7 but he is being conservative - 24 degrees advance is not enough for best power.

Chris Ludwig has a nice post on IT.com about timing:

Basically the consensus is that the dyno will provide the answer. Start near stock, work up to max power verifying AFR as you go.
