Cgotto6 10-01-05 08:35 PM

Hot damn, that thing is gnarly!! Thats about as efficient as a turbo system gets!!

cpa7man 10-01-05 10:22 PM

Very nice indeed. What organization are you going to run with? Is that a homemade header?

DriftingB26RX7 10-02-05 02:36 AM

Wow dude crazy intake, very nice set up. what kind of bov is that i know its hks but what model

Mahjik 10-02-05 11:17 AM

Any shots showing the front and/or rear as a whole?

RoadRaceJosh 10-02-05 11:33 AM

Some exceptional fab work there. Dare I ask why a 6 port engine?

mwatson184 10-02-05 12:37 PM

It is a 6 port, but not a conventional one. Notice how two of the runners go to the rotor housings? Semi-PP baby!

That car is something for all of us to look up to. Excelent work. I'd imagine you are running methanol. What EMS? Could you give us a breakdown of the setup?

Nice welding. But, why are the intake runners rectangular?

Syncro 10-02-05 02:47 PM

I started clicking on the pics at random. First one I clicked on was

I was like WTF

Then I saw it from another angle

Its cool mang

Jonatptp 10-02-05 07:17 PM

I cant really discuss the complete setup as of yet, we are trying some new things and dont want too many people knowing about it. However, I can say yes its a 6 port, yes its methonal, and yes in house manifold, and its very very very hard to make oval runners thats why rectangular runners. And that is not a bov, its the hks wastegate gt2 i think.

Glad you guys like it.

Are you for real? This is a drag car. Did you look at the front tires? Where the fuel tank is mounted?

jacobcartmill 10-04-05 08:12 PM

there is no BOV thats the freakin wastegate man...

Hyper4mance2k 10-06-05 01:32 AM

Hells yess a semi-perri-port! ummm what are the expect hp and tq numbers? A semi pp must be planning 750hp@8800, right?

88fc3sw/HX83 10-06-05 07:34 PM

That is a SWEET SETUP, turn the boost up to 40+ PSI!!! ;)

Maybe he meant what class are you guys doing?

-Destin

Jonatptp 10-13-05 05:35 PM

The class is Modified NHRA and Nopi I think.

We are actually shooting for 1000 hp. :)

Hate to burst your bubble but I don't think that car will pass for NHRA Modified class. Simply because the rules state you can't modify the firewall has to be oem. That's the reason Brent Rau in his Eclipse can only run NOPI his car was basically a full chassis car and they tried to put back the factory fiewall. Couldn't pass for NHRA. Great looking car though can't wait to see it run. What size throttlebody is that? Looks like an Accufab.
