race alignment for fb

I just finished intalling camber plates on my 85 gsl-se and i am ready for a alignment. I'll run lots of negative camber and was wondering what kind of toe setting should i get...

I think a little toe in would be good but some argue i should run a little toe out?

Who is right?

What sort of racing are you doing? Auto-X? Short Track? Big track?

I do solosprint, mostly on short track. The fastest I get is about 100mph

it depends on the tires...

most people say it turns in better with a little toe out.

if you're running something like a toyo ra1, in a stockish size, you almost want as much camber as you can get

Hate to say it, but everycar is different, what other suspension, spring rate, etc. are you running the bump steer spacers? In my experience, (at least without the bump steer spacers), you don't want to run as much camber as you can, I am currently at 2 degrees, but mostly for a autox car.

Keep in mind, his question is related to toe rather than camber. I advised him that most seem to run nearly zero toe, or a very slight amount of toe out for autocrossing....

You are right, I was just commenting on the "I'll run lots of negative camber" comment.

As for toe, i'm not sure what shorttracking means, but do you daily drive this car? if so I'd run zero toe to save tires...

I get SIGNIFICANT tire wear on my autox RX-7 with toe out. It may handle better with toe out but I can't afford the tire wear. I now have mine set to zero.
