does anyone know where i could get a technical or cross section drawing of this motor, i have to do a final project in my drafting class, and i really want to do this engine...also its a large object and it has many details in it. so if anyone could help me with any information at all, thanks

there are a few SAE articles online about the 787b and r26b.
I could send them to you if I were on my laptop, but im not. Send me a PM about it.
It uses 3 plug-per-rotor peripheral port housings. They sell these in japan, not in the US. Not sure if the port is identical in size or timing.
They use 10:1 compression rotors. I'm sure they're some mazda R&D goodies and not off the shelf at all.
Ceramic apex seals and ceramic coated rotor housings and side irons.

Lots of goodies. Along w/ variable length intake manifold :)

Do you think you could send me some of these articles as well? I always enjoy reading about rotaries. :)
