Quik times with factory S5 '90 diff????
 

Hi guys,just wanting to find out how fast people are going with standard diff(locked) in there 86-91 RX7's and how reliable they are.We have a 91 RX7 that I have a C4 3sp auto for.The car will run all factory interior so will be pretty heavy.Are the rear ends staying together at mid to low 9's??We have run mid tens before with them but it was only taken out a couple of times then sold.I am just at the point of building the engine package so I'm just working out what sort of power to put in the old girl.I dont want to be replacing the diff every meet as I'm to busy with customer stuff.If we have to run 10's with it then so be it but idealy I would like to see a nine as a streeter.

Well, this is what happend to my Diff and I only run low 15's. Wheel hop will kill it. Although you probably do not have much running 10's. It started growling after 2 passes. Gave up for the night and it shattered on my first run the next day at an AutoX. This is an NA diff in a street port 13B NA. I have since switched to a TII transmission and diff.
