Quick Kumho question........
Even though the Victoracer V700's are marked with an inside and an outside, I'm assuming you can flip them on the rim for more life, right?
These will be used on the track. Thanks. David |
That's what most do. Mount them "correctly" and then flip them when the outside is worn. For me there is no need because with the car setup to run on the tires (negative camber) I wear the entire tire pretty evenly.

Ditto. I typically flip them once, after the long tread bars start to fade.
|
Thanks...........I guess I better do the negative camber thing............seems like most of you road racers are at about -1.5 to -2 degrees all the way around, from what I gather...........I guess I'll just keep it that way for what limited street driving I do as well............
Tires are flipped...........Sebring here I come.......... Thanks. David |
There were plenty of good times when Kumho said they were directional, but shipped you 4 lefts...
Toyo's are pretty much the same, too. |
I'm running -2.5, and moving to -3
And as was already said, it's ok to flip. |
Screw the Kumhos. Get some real race tires like Hoosiers. ;)

The Ecsta 700s are designed to be turned inside out, the Victoracers, are not intended to be, and that could result in tread seperation on the V700s according to a Kumho rep I talked to at the track about a year ago. Carl Byck
