quality 2nd gen pillow ball camber plates ?

I have some ebay mookeh camber plates that have worn out in 2k miles, tons of slack in the upper bushings it is pitiful. looking to get some camber plates that are reasonable but have a longer life span than the mookeh's haha.

i have kyb AGX shocks, that the plates would need to be able to fit.

so far im thinking k sport ? please let me know your opinion.

Thanks

pull the spherical bearing (pillow ball) out of the camber plate and measure it. chances are its a readily available size. FK, Aurora, QA1 all make good quality bearings, im sure there are others.

start off with inside and outside diameters. most camber plates use a COM-10 or COM-12 bearing

wow didnt even think that i might be able to replace bearings. i will have to take a closer look at that.

it appears to made as a unit...

generally they are pressed in and have a c-clip to make sure they dont fall out.

Just checked the pics on your build thread: do you have any needle-bearings between the upper spring hat and the spherical bearing?

Also, to add info in case people were looking at these:

The bearing is not a "standard" bearing (meaning neither SAE nor readily-available). It has a 33mm outside diameter and 18mm center bore. The manufacturer of these bearings is NHBB or something. There is a Subaru owner who found replacements for these.

The closest bearing around is a Flouro that is 34.5mm.

The bearing is removed by undoing the screw-on collar underneath.

I picked these up due to how they utilized a top nut like the Jap plates do, expecting to have to replace the bearing eventually. The bearing carrier itself is a good steel piece. The plate is a nice Al plate as well.
