Pedal height adjustment for heel and toe.

How do you adjust your brake pedals for heel and toe? Personally I find that it's best to have the throttle just slightly below the brake pedal during full braking.

But I find that since I like a low brake pedal (so I don't have to bend my leg too much), but that means the throttle ends up above the brake pedal during full breaking, making heel and toe a little harder...

I can see that I could adjust the height of the throttle by using a rubber spacer on the stopper that the throttle rests on at zero throttle, and then readjusting the throttle cable slack... although that would take clearance to the floor away (fine as long as my floor mats aren't slipping around).

Has anyone done this?

Of course, if I had a stiffer brake pedal this wouldn't be a problem to begin with... but I don't want to spend money on mesh hoses and can't use a MC stopper.

I like the brake pedal a little below the throttle under hard braking and I use the side of my foot to blip the throttle.

Yeah, that works fine, it just seems like it's easier when the throttle is at the same height or slightly below.

OTOH, removing a bit of freeplay from the throttle would also make blipping easier.

But I wonder if it's safe to do so...
