by passing the CPU
 

I am currently building a solo 2 second gen car with a brigdeport 13B. I am using a 45mm DelOroto in lieu of the injection. My problem is I can not get the coils to fire. Does any one know of any way to by pass the CPU? .

convert to dizzy and run direct fire?

ignitor uses a computer type signal to fire the coils. it is a "smart" type ignitor. easiest conversion is to install a 12a distributor. haltech makes an ignition only system as well as electromotive that could run as the oem setup does.

I believe the ECU controls spark. The CPU controls the wipers and blinkers ect...
