Oil presure isolator? (For gauges)

So I bought a set of VDO Vision gauges and it occurs to me that I forgot to get a tube for the oil pressure gauge.

eGauges has tube kits, but also supplies an Autometer gauge isolator here: http://www.egauges.com/vdo_acce.asp?...lator&Manf=All

I don't much like the idea of pumping hot oil into my cockpit. Anyone use this with a VDO gauge? Will it work? Will it ruin the accuracy?

Thanks.

I have used isolators before that look just like that one with no problem. I've also just used a braided hose going to the guage. You'll bust up the guage before a braided hose will burst. With a braided hose just be sure you have enough extra hose to handle the engine almost coming out of the car. A turn or two in the engine compartment is usually enough.
