Oil Pan Baffle Design

1 Attachment(s)
Im trying to make an oil pan baffle for my street/track car. Im not sure how many holes will be enough to let all the oil drain in time to avoid any pick up starvation problems. I attached a pic of what im thinking of doing so far.

It seems like the RB design has a lot of holes on the outsides of the plate, right where i would think it should be sealed to prevent oil from sloshing up the sides under high Gs.

What do you guys think, is this enough holes for oil to drain?

Im also upgrading the stock S5 T2 Rear Oil Pressure Regulator to an FD one. Is this safe for the S5 engine or will the pressure be too high?

Does anyone know if the Front Oil Pressure Regulator needs to be shimmed with an FD ROPR like it does with the RB 130psi race regulator?

I have one from Mazdaspeed for sale if you want. Don't have to go through all the hassel.

I have the RB baffle (this is FC I assume?) and it works great. I used to get oil all over my engine bay at VIR, but no more with it installed. I installed a catch can at the same time, and the catch can stays pretty empty.

I am interested to know too, as I am doing the same as Jahoo88

Yes, this is FC, i think im going to go ahead and run that design. I will find out if tehre are enough holes if the buzzer comes on i guess!

Does anyone have any info about the Front Oil Pressure Regulator?
