Nurburgring FC Setup

I've been spending the last year, slowly gathering parts to prepare my car for 'Ring laps. I live 30min from the "track" and have done a few laps in a S2000 as a passenger and driven it previously in my old FC (many moons ago).

Has anyone on here ran a FC on the 'Ring? Bridge to Gantry times?

I have a very modest budget, but lots of time, tools, and wrenching experience (professional mechanic). Any setup tips would be greatly appreciated.

The car is a S4 TurboII with the following mods:
- Racing Beat RevII exhaust (will probably be replaced with something lighter)
- tubular exh manifold
- Gilmer drive setup (zero belt slip)
- Rtek 2.1 w/ Innovate WB
- K-Sport coilovers (remember the modest budget...friends have had good experience with them)
- 17x8 and 17x9 rims with 235/45 and 255/40 Federal 595s (replacing tires with Hankook R-S3s)

Soon as I finish a friends BMW transmission the car will be going under the knife. The chassis will be stripped bare and stitch/seam welded. A roll bar will be fitted and the factory interior will not be going back in (shedding every spare pound). All the obligatory chassis stiffeners will be added as well. A sparco racing seat and harness will be going in along with a momo wheel and the factory dash (sans stereo and extraneous trim). I'll be keeping the heater and defroster (the car never had A/C). I'm depowering the steering rack as well. I'm also adding supports so the wing I add will be directly connected to the chassis, not just sheet metal. Doors will be gutted and converted to manual windows.

The brakes are being rebuilt (calipers, lines and master cyl) and I'm planning to run Carbotech XP10s in the front and XP8s in the rear.

Finally, for power I plan to rebuild the S4 turbo and put a 60-1 compressor housing and wheel on it. I'm torn between running a v-mount and just using water/meth injection to keep IAT under control. I'm also adding in a custom intake setup...nothing too fancy, just something to get cool air in.

I'm not really sure what kind of times I'm going to aim for...maybe low to mid 8min. With the car down around 2300lbs and proper aero and tires I don't imagine grip will be an issue. Most of my time improvements will be getting the suspension dialed in and getting to really know the course.

Big balls. I would be scared to drive a high powered car at 10 10ths on the ring. But you seem to have the resources and ambition to meet your goals. I can't comment on times, though.

I would concentrate on getting to know the track and dialing your setup. A car with that many modifications will not be anywhere close to its full capability right out of the box. And I'd get as much rubber under the car as I could. Also, functional brake ducting.

I'm limited on what I can fit, rubber wise, because getting wide fenders and over fenders (and cf/frp hoods too) is very difficult and cost prohibitive. I forgot to mention the brake ducting, it is definitely on the to do list.
