nitrous injection points on T2
 

I was looking for the best place to run the nitrous Nozzle or Nozzles.

I really dont want to inject before the TB as the system will be a wet system.

I was thinking of using 2 Nozzles on at the start of each secondary runner at the plenum

well as far as I know no matter what you do it will have to be a wet shot. a dry shot places the nozzle infront of a maf(you dont have) and uses the stock ecu to figure out fuel. if you are going to spray in the IM runners I think it is best to go as close as you can to the port. Or spray before tb.
no matter what I would get a rpm window switch and fp switch(if you loose fp it will cut nitrous) anything else I consider luxuries(bottle opener, heater,etc)

I have the haltech it has a No2 control pwm on it. that can turn it on and off at rpms.

The fp switch sounds like a really good idea anyway.


the reason I dont want to do it before the TB is I dont want fuel to pool up and go back down in to the fm intercooler


the motor is half bridge ported so that is why I was thinking of injecting on the senondary runners.

or is it better to inject before the air temp sensor?

i would place them in the lim in secondary runners

I myself would place them in a PP arrangement. The No2 system runs seperate from the stock stuff, so you don't want it interacting with any of the ancilleries to do with it.

Simply get them mounted in the housing about 15-20 degrees higher than the ports (you dont want overlap with this!!). It would have to be injected through a spark-plug style hole, so it would take a bit of work to get it right, but it'll give you the best gains in comparison to injecting into the manifold

I second that.... runners cause it's closer to the intake ports on the motor.

Atleast I've seen most guys running t2's going that route.

Think about when you work on the motor and make sure the lines won't get too much in your way. And what would be the best for the cleanest install.
