nhra and battery cut off switches?

i am relocating my battery, and want to be able to take it out to the drags ocationally. so that means a cut off switch. do they have any rules on where it can be (height, visability), and such.. i was thinking about hiding it behind the rear license plate, and just take the plate off at the track (that way it is not in site on the road.. since this is my daily driver), but that would put it really bloody low ... this is a first gen... any other ideas, or info..

me and a local friend have been trying to figure out the same thing, best i dea ive come up with so far is this

get one of thoes remote switches that have the pull style handle on the long arm, mount it apporpraiatly though the back of the car somewhere dark, maby near the trim line or next to the licence plate, but replace the bolt that holds the arm to the swith with a codder pin, then when your not at the track, pull the pin and arm comes off, then just get a small firewall plug syle thing and plug the little hole so you dont hnave to deal with jerks messing iwth your switch on the street

hieght doesnt matter. Dennis's cut-off switch was on the very bottom of the bumper cover on the green car, and it passed every time.

i was thinking behind the license plate (below the bumper. where rhett's license plate is).. that is even lower than dennis's was..
but if it is fine , then it is fine.. it will be nice to get it out of the way, so that it cannot be seen on the street.
