NGK Race plugs - able to be cleaned?
I have a bit of a problem. My car is entered in a Dyno demo at a local show this sunday (on C16) and the plugs (NGK R6725-11) I have ordered 3 weeks ago are still on the other side of the world.
I have a old set of R6725-11 plugs that were not old or worn, just fouled. Is there any way to cleen these up so I can use them again? They were fouled to the point the car would not start. The same thing happened to a set of cheaper plugs (for pump gas) I have and a wire brush and brake clean sorted them out. I have heard they can be sand blasted? Any ideas? |
Wire brush and brake clean will work just fine. I hit them with a blast of air to dry them after cleaning. Works every time.
