New front swaybar..new endlinks required?

I'm going to be adding a Racing Beat front bar and was finding some confusing info on new endlinks with regards to an S5.

First off, do I need new links if my stock ones aren't loose?

Are the RB links a good alternative? They'd don't specify if they're for S4/5, but they are built like the S4 stock links.

Any more info on this thread? https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...g+beat+swaybar

It seems like building/reinforcing the endlink bracket on the control arm is recommended, yes?

Thanks.

The stock S5 links are OK. The advantage of the adjustable ones is you can eliminate preload on the bar.

I used stock endlinks on my RB bars for a while, no problems.

What links are you running? I believe you said you have an RB front bar, and run RA-1s?

Any further review of the Gearhead Garage links?

So has anyone had an S5 link break on them? Looking at the "I" beam construction of the S5 link it does look like is strong. Are the control arm brackets still the weak point, then?

I do have the RB front bar but I run BFG R1s on track. I've never heard of the brackets on the control arm breaking, eek.

I have the Mazdatrix end links with the spherical bearings.

Nothing further to add, other than they're still doing fine. I haven't had any issues with them since.

Thank you, both.

I'm surprised at the lack of response here (aside from these two). I expected some solid answers from the "Race Car Tech" forum.

This section doesn't get as much traffic as say the 2nd gen tech section.
