Ron, my above question was not real bright. Any dumb a$$ can look at the picture & see that the radiator is a cross flow. What I ment to ask is, is the radiator a double flow meaning the water flows from the passengers side to the driver side & back to the passenders side. Is there a plate welded within the passengers side radiator tank about located about 1/2 the height of the tank?

I had a tri-link buckle several years ago; he then came up with the heavier "GT strength" Tri-Link. It has been holding up well.

Ron, being it's a ISC radiator it's a double flow/2 pass/whatever. I have an ISC also. Information for you is that the ISC is a Howe with the ISC additions.

Chris, as I look at my ISC radiator welds I would say that at the ISC shop they added the baffle in the R.H tank & that they add the wings for mounting the radiator. Your a welder & I bet you can aslo tell the difference in in two peoples welds. Did ya ever think that maybe they purchase one radiator from Howe & with different ISC additions that ISC can service several different cars. That would be called reducing ones inventory, quicker delivery & happy customers.

That's what I thought... did you guys mould it into the rear, or how is it attached? Looks a lot cleaner than most of the kits around here.

yea we got some epoxy from mariah motorsports (excellent stuff, just takes awhile to setup) and glued em on. then where the lip is from the new fender we applied bondo to make the lines flow. worth the extra weight to look good? prolly not but whatever. the front pieces on the other hand, those were/are a handful. compared to fronts, rears are cake to make look good. For the price though ISC did good. I think the problem with our kit is the supplier they were having make them got hit by the hurricane, so they made it themselves. Front needs some finessing. oh well its gettin there.

I use an ISC nose piece, and it did take a lot of manhours to get it hung properly and have the lines flow well into the Mark I fenders.

OK - I've been dawdling at installing the ISC fiberglass all winter while I did some other mods to bring me closer to the front of the EP pack. Can someone show me a pic of what they did to support it underneath? I've been experimenting with various braces and schemes, but would really like to know how it is supposed to be done!

Different car, but I made a front undertray for my FC, it is the beginning of a full flat bottom. The leading edge is contoured, and ranges from 2-3" of projection. It is an aluminum sheet ~3/16 thick that goes all the way back to the front cross member(subframe). Pics are a little large, but I'll put up a link or two. I guess what I was looking for was more along the lines of structure where the bumper used to be inside the nose. As you can see from my avatar I've been running the stock steel fenders with some minor flaring while developing other parts of the car. Now I'm in the process of putting on what appears to be similar to the ISC fiberglass ISC body kit so I can convert up to 15" wheels with the maximum allowable track. I haven't run a bumper on the car for years, so I was curious what others had done to support the nose piece. I had considered cutting and lightening a stock aluminum bumper and mounting it on old bumper shocks just to protect the front end a bit. Unfortunately, the space between the grill opening and the top of the "bumper" shape on the nose is about 3.5 inches, and the aluminum bumper is about 4.5 inches, so it won't fit. I've been playing around with welding up a light steel frame and skinning it with sheet metal to act as a shroud to direct air to the radiator and oil coooler while also supporting the nose. I just wondered how others had done it.

Did you not primer the car first, or did you use a dark primer? Looks like you're going to need many coats to cover over that dark (looking) base.

we used a dark primer, almost black....yea stupid us. we did the 3rd coat yesterday. came out alot better than the first 2. should only need another 1, 2 at the most.

nope you were correct it is a 48 IDA. Special about it? not really sure to be honest if its better than the DCO.
