Need Setup notes

Heya,

I've been driven closer and closer to the world of drifting for the past couple of months now, just recently i attended a drift practice event in Bradenton, Florida at Primus speedway. First thing : Drifing an FC is very difficult. My suspension system is basically stock other than Tokico blues and Eibach springs on all fours. I do have a front strut brace. I consider my self a "good driver" just not up to the skill of drifting. I Do have a clutch type LSD and on the day of the event i was running 225-50-15's front and 205-60-15's rear. My basic questions : Would added a Kaaz 1.5 diff, rear strut bar and eliminating the rear toe (steering) from my rear suspension aid in sideways style driving?

My main problems were lift throttle oversteer, i might have possibly been to abrubt with the throttle input but after 15 laps it was becoming a problem. The front of the car would sometimes plow into the corner "making me" slow down, than the rear end would just whip around as i applied throttle input. Any amount of general input as far as rear/front suspension setups, tire recommendations ect..ect.. would be great

the "plow" is understeer. this is causing you to slow to rotate the car. try left foot braking(braking at corner entry will help get the car to rotate) into the corner or use the hand brake to get it rotated. then add the power easily to get the car sliding and use the power to steer the car. a better more "balanced" suspension may help to drift the car easier.
